May 2006	The new company profile is online and the English and French version can be downloaded in pdf-format. Other languages will follow.
September 2005	A new edition of the technical datasheets has been published: 09/05. Thanks to the ongoing efforts to improve our production equipment and procedures, and after gathering sufficient statistical data with the 2004 and 2005-crop Linseed as raw material, we have been able to improve the quality of most of our Standoils. We have also used this opportunity to streamline all the TDS with both specifications and typical data. Please read this to find out more.
February 2004	The technical datasheets of our Linseed Standoils have been revised: Acid value for most of our Standoils has been increased. Please read this to find out why. Colour for most of our Standoils has been decreased. For obvious reasons of continuity and uniformity, we have revised all technical datasheets to edition 02/04. We stress that this only effects Linseed Standoils. All other grades (Raw, Refined, Boiled) remain unchanged.
July 2002	Material Safety Datasheets have been updated according to the latest EC-directive 2001/58/EC. The safety aspect and approach of our products has not changed, but a few paragraphs of the MSDS have been changed either in the frame of legislation or new insights. We advise our customers to update their files accordingly.
March 2002	Scaldis obtained the GMP-certificate (Good Manufacturing/Management Practice) for the crush of linseed and the production of linseed cake.
October 2001	All Technical Datasheets are available as downloadable PDF-files. A hyperlink is shown in each document that is available for Acrobat Reader. The hyperlink is shown either on the right, or on the bottom of the page.
February 2001	Most of the Sales Contracts we use are available for consulting as downloadable PDF-files. A review of the various contracts, their applications and ruling technical specifications can be found here. Following contracts are available: VBO 7 FOSFA 55 FOSFA 61 For the NOFOTA-contract, it has been impossible to create an on-line document because of its length, being a direct result that this is a general contract for various types of oils, packings, shipping terms, ... Also, an on-line HTML-document of the BSS 6900:1987 is available.
August 2000	Material Safety Datasheets are optionally available as downloadable PDF-files. These formatted documents can be used by agents, distributors and importers around for further spreading. This overcomes the problem of HTML-documents which are of non-standard format, or sending documents by time consuming traditional post or costly express post. July 2000	Detailed technical datasheets are put online. Besides the general table, individual sheets will be available for Raw Linseedoil Coldpressed Linseedoil Acid Refined Linseedoil Refined Linseedoil Heat Bleached Linseedoil Boiled Linseedoils Linseed Standoils High Acidity Standoils.
June 2000	Some interactivity is added to the website. It is possible to send us a detailed Price Request for different products and to Find Us online. The price request includes most common attributes such as packing, currency, delivery period, IMCO-terms, ... The user is 'guided' to provide the correct number of details, so it should normally be possible to return an offer ASAP. The MapBlast techniques offered for free on the internet make it possible to track your way online should you want to visit us. A map can be detailed as per your wishes and printed or saved for later use.
May 2000	Scaldis goes online. The aim of our website is to provide online access to the latest news and/or documents regarding our company and its products. The Company Profile gives a general view on our company. Who we are, What we do and how. The Technical Datasheet gives you are clear and one-page view on the latest specifications of our various linseedoils. Later on, detailed pages and downloadable PDF-files will be available for individual products. Material Safety Datasheets are available for each group of products. Please consult our Disclaimer before proceeding your travel around our website. The website is intentionally kept 'simple'. We have avoided extensive use of graphics or animation to limit download time of the various pages involved.
